As a licensed social worker, I am committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with warmth, understanding, and evidence-based support. Whether you are working through past experiences, managing anxiety, or seeking a renewed sense of self, I provide a safe and compassionate space to explore your emotions and break free from unhelpful patterns. Together, we will build resilience, strengthen self-compassion, and create a path forward that feels authentic and empowering.

Therapeutic Approaches

Trauma Focused Therapy

Healing from trauma requires a compassionate and effective approach. I utilize Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and the Flash Technique to help individuals process distressing experiences in a way that feels safe and empowering. Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) helps clients understand how trauma has shaped their thoughts and beliefs, guiding them to reframe unhelpful patterns and regain control over their emotional well-being.The Flash Technique is a gentle, trauma-informed method that reduces the emotional intensity of painful memories without requiring direct exposure, allowing for relief without overwhelming distress.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach that helps individuals recognize and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. By breaking the cycle of negative thinking, CBT empowers clients to develop healthier perspectives, build resilience, and implement practical coping strategies. CBT is highly effective for managing anxiety and excessive worry, depression, stress, perfectionism, procrastination, and self-criticism.Through structured techniques and goal-setting, CBT provides clients with the tools to make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.

Person Centered Therapy

Person-Centered Therapy is a compassionate, non-directive approach that emphasizes each individual's innate capacity for growth and healing. Grounded in empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, this approach creates a safe space for clients to explore their emotions, challenges, and personal values without fear of judgment. It is particularly effective for those struggling with low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or relationship difficulties. By fostering self-awareness and self-acceptance, Person-Centered Therapy empowers clients to connect with their inner strengths, make meaningful choices, and cultivate a deeper sense of well-being.

Trauma & PTSD

Trauma can leave a lasting impact, making it difficult to feel safe, connected, or in control. Whether from a single event or prolonged experiences, unresolved trauma can lead to overwhelming emotions, intrusive thoughts, and a sense of disconnection. Healing is possible with the right support. Through a compassionate and structured approach, I help clients process their experiences, regain a sense of peace, and rebuild their lives with confidence and resilience.

Anxiety

Anxiety can feel like a constant state of worry, restlessness, or even panic, interfering with daily life and making it hard to feel present and at ease. Whether it shows up as excessive overthinking, social discomfort, or physical tension, anxiety can be overwhelming—but it doesn’t have to define you. With a personalized and supportive approach, I help clients understand their anxiety, develop effective coping strategies, and build confidence in their ability to navigate life with greater calm and balance.

First Responders

First responders face unique challenges, regularly navigating high-pressure environments, exposure to trauma, and the demands of constant readiness. Over time, this can take a toll on mental health, leading to stress, burnout, or emotional exhaustion. I provide a safe and confidential space tailored to the needs of first responders, offering support that acknowledges the realities of their work. By addressing these challenges with care and understanding, I help first responders strengthen resilience, manage stress, and maintain both their professional effectiveness and personal well-being.

I offer free, no pressure, 15-minute consultations. Let’s chat first before deciding to schedule your first therapy appointment. I often tell my clients, my role isn’t to be your counselor. My role is to promote your mental wellness and if that means being your counselor or finding a counselor who would be a best fit for you then I more than happy to do so. Stepping into the therapeutic process can bring up a lot of unsure or anxious feelings. Let me help you navigate those first steps! Call or text to set up your consultation.
